Harpist for Engagement Party at Paul's Restaurant in Atlanta

Atlanta harpist Brenda Street played for engagement party at Paul's Restaurant in Atlanta

This was a wonderful buffet dinner party to celebrate Kelle and Sam's engagement.  The restaurant, Paul's, is a Buckhead favorite and is located in the Peachtree Hills neighborhood.  (Well-known Atlanta chef Paul Albrecht is the owner.)  Acoustics are wonderful in the restaurant, and I didn't even need to use my small amplifier for the harp's volume to be just right.  The music and dining went on for over two hours, after which there were toasts and speeches.  I played upbeat, popular music by special request of the couple, and how appropriate for such an upbeat, happy occasion.  ("Don't Stop Believing" by Journey was high on their list.) Thanks to Kelle, Sam, and mom Barbara for having chosen harp music to add to the already lovely ambiance.

Harp music for Mother's Day Tea

at Brookdale Senior Living

Atlanta harpist Brenda Street played background harp music for Mother's Day Tea at Brookdale Senior Living in Douglasville, GA

I appreciate so much the fact that they wanted a harpist to play for this lovely, two-hour afternoon event just east of Atlanta, in Douglasville.  I sat in the living room, where there were tables set up, but as you can see, used my small amplifier to make sure the music was heard in the dining room as well.

Harp Music for Easter Brunch at Atlanta Athletic Club, Johns Creek, GA

I played harp for 4 hours today, 11:00-3:00 p.m., and must say the time flew by, as there was so much activity to watch.  It was great fun seeing the children, dressed in their Easter best, filling their plates with all sorts of tempting goodies, then watching with wide eyes as the Easter bunny paid a visit.  The Athletic Club is lovely, and the members and staff are friendly, helpful.  A wonderful day.   - Brenda Street

Photo Shoot at Bisham Manor in LaGrange, Georgia, features Atlanta wedding harpist

It's worth an hour's drive down I-85 to see this handsome manor house that is tucked away in the lush, green countryside.  I was happy to have been asked to participate in this photo session, as it's the perfect place for outdoor weddings, receptions, and, of course, harp music!  They have a beautiful website now, but more publicity will be appearing in the near future.  A truly elegant spot, and it was once a real family home.  -Brenda Street
